    Hi everyone,
    I have Parallels 10, and I just bought a copy of Windows 10 Home Edition. The Windows OS came in a USB format instead of a CD.
    I have the USB plugged into my computer, but when I open Parallels Desktop and try to install a new virtual machine (I clicked on 'Install Windows or another OS from a DVD or image file') it won't automatically detect Windows. I can't even manually click on it or anything.
    Can anyone help me? Thanks!

    Just kidding, I found a guide on this site for how to set up Windows on USB. Yay!

    Hello Madelenel, please update Parallels Desktop 10 to the latest build 10.3.0.29227 and create an empty virtual machine and follow the steps to fix the issue.
    1.Shut down the virtual machine.
    2.Open virtual machine configuration > Hardware tab > Boot order > Advanced settings > Boot flags > Copy and paste the following boot flag:
    devices.sfilter.enable=0
    3.Start the virtual machine and check the issue with USB 3.0 device.
