Parallels not recognizing Windows XP

I have used Parallels successfully for over a year w/ few problems.

Today, i clicked on the parallels icon, and the OS Installation Assistant pops up as if i no longer have an operating system and need to install one.

Does anyone know what's going on here? I have windows applications and files i need to access, and i'm a little scared that everything was erased!
 
i figured out the problem....

i accidentally had moved my documents folder (which contained the .hdd file).. so parallels didn't know where to look.
