Parallels on Multiboot system??

Hi there,

Im new to this forum . So "Hello" everyone.

I have a question about Parallels. Im currently running a multiboot system (Vista, XP, OSX86 and Ubuntu). I set my main OS as XP since it's faster for gaming. Im using the boot loader with EasyBCD from Vista to configure my boot sequence. Now the question is... am I able to run Parallels with the current OS installed on each partition or will I need to reinstall the OS again?

It will save me alot of time and space if I can somehow map the current OS partition to load up in Parallels instead of creating a new virtual disk and installing all my OS again.

Can someone shine some light on this to let me know if this is possible.

Anyone knows if it's possible to use my current partition with already installed OS to be used on Parallels or I must create a virtual HD and install a fresh copy?

Best bet would be using Parallels Desktop for Mac which can use real partitions for virtual machines, Parallels Workstation can't do that. But since you're using an Hackintosh and hence it's not a GPT partition scheme you should try the trial first to see if it works.
