parallels only offers usb 1.1?!

could this be why we're having trouble getting the garmin edge 305 (gps cyclometer) to work? why does parallels not offer us usb2? i'm on a macbook pro and BOTH of my usb ports are usb2.

That's what Parallels tech support told me regarding a problem I was having with my HP printer: the software doesn't support USB 2.0 devices. Pretty major limitation, IMHO.
