Parallels : Please acknowledge there are issues

Hi,

This is a plea to the Parallels team, there are multiple people trying to use Parallels with Solaris and suffering from two serious bugs:

1) Additional HD leads to PCI timeouts and just do not work

2) Suspending the Mac kills Solaris

Multiple people have logged support calls. We have all heard nothing.

We have paid for this product and we are not asking for an immediate fix. What we are asking for is that Parallels are aware of these problems and are working towards a resolution. Ideally a timeframe of when we can expect a solution would be useful.

Is there ANYONE from Parallels out there reading these forums.

I appreciate you guys are busy, but if you read the forum ( what about support emails? I know that at least two have reported the additional drive fault ), could you not just acknowledge some of these issues? Each of these threads have two things in common. They are all regarding an issue with Solaris, and none of them have had a comment from Parallels.

I would really like to see the additional drive issue get fixed. As it stands, PD is off little use to me ( and several others from what I've read on the forum ).

Both major Solaris issues - 2-nd HDD and Suspend/Resume problem are submited to our internal bugtrecking system and dev team is working on it. I can't promise it will be fixed in the nearest update, but we are doing our best.

At the same time better integration with Solaris is becoming one of our priorities. We even are going to discuss issues and better integration directly with Solaris team.
