I haven't bought Parallels yet, but I have a question.
I would like to install Windows on a separate drive through Bootcamp. Not quite sure how I'm going to do that yet, but I really want to be able to use Windows to play PC games on the Mac. I can't play games via Parallels - no hardware 3d support via virtual machines.
So, if I wanted to play games, I would be booting into that secondary drive through Bootcamp.
But say I want to only use a program that doesn't require hardware 3d acceleration in Windows - like if I'm testing web sites for compatibility, whatever. Can I utilize Parallels to access that copy of windows without having to re-boot the system? Or am I simply crazy for thinking I can do ANY of this?
Any input would be appreciated. I've been surfing these boards, and the technical proficiency of everyone here is stunning! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!
