I have software installed on a 7 Pro machine and I had it working with a LAN (ethernet) device communicating with its software and a wireless internet connection.
I had it on "Shared Connection" and it doesn't matter which type of "Network" I put it on....
For no apparent reason it quit working.
The IP on the LAN is showing up an internet connection, not the device....
Is there something I am missing on setting up windows to see the LAN device and communicate with the Windows software?
The device will not show up in Windows when looking in Device Management?

    Any ideas?

  2. Hi, did you get any error/warning message during setting up? If yes, provide us with the screenshot of it please

no errors...I believe the device is defective. I just want to make sure I understand that the wireless connection does not show up in the network settings even though it is working.

  4. @MichaielR actually, virtual machine that underlies Parallels Desktop does not have a wireless adapter. Due to technical limitations no virtualization software allows for direct access to hardware devices like Wi-Fi adapter.
