I am running Parallels Desktop on a IntelMac with Mac OS 10.5.8
The Guest OS is Windows XP.
Until today Parallels has been working great, when suddenly I clicked on "start" like everyday and the program crashed with a message like this :"impossible to start windows because its file corrupted" (but i don't remember exactly).
and I have only one option: "REMOVE".
I had tried to exit from this page but it seemed impossible. So I clicked remove and then Paralles came back at the initial menu like the first time I run Parellels after the program installation.
Right now i am freezed on this point, because I don't know exactly what happen if I reinitialize the virtual machine.
Now i would like to solve this problem having my old windows virtual machine or in alternative having my HD files (at the moment I don't know how I could extract this file or if this is possible). can I go ahead without harming my Hd files(there are some important files for me so i am very concerned)? or have I other ways to solve this?
