Parallels Tools do not compile with kernels 2.6.39 and 3.0

Yes, it was very helpful - I'm totally shocked that Parallels haven't fixed the 6.0 release yet.

This is my third Ubuntu release where I've had problems upgrading due to use of Parallels - I *never* once had an issue using Virtual Box so this weekend I'm going to start moving all my environment over to a VB VM - then at least I can migrate the VM to non-Mac hosts if I want to.

 

Why would they?

Why would they bother with v6.0, it no longer makes them money; they want you to move to v7. Who cares about happy customers these days ...
