Parallels Tools keeps reinstalling

Whenever I start Parallels Tools, it not only starts, it initiates its installation. I have a MacBook Pro with 2 GB, Leopard and build 5160. But the problem predates Leopard and the Beta. I deal with it by just canceling the installation and everything works fine, but I am thinking there is a more sophisticated solution that isnt as annoying and time-consuming.

So I thought I would ask.

Take a look to see if there is a Parallels Tool disk image file attached to your virtual CD-ROM drive in your configuration file.
