Parallels Tools not working and impossible to reinstall after 17.1.1 upgrade

Hi,

I upgraded Parallels Desktop to the latest version 17.1.1 (51537).

Since then, I can't reinstall Parallels Tools inside my Windows 10 VM. The completion bar for the installer is progressing, and somewhere around 50-70% (I can't see) the VM simply reboots.

I tried everything I found on the support, nothing works. It keeps restarting the VM in the middle of the Parallels Tools install... I guess because the VM crashes, although I can't see any error message at all.

This is very annoying of course. Is there any solution ? Or at least is there a way to downgrade to previous version 17.1.0 maybe ?

Out of despair, I tried one more time to boot in safe mode (typing F8 at startup, I guess it worked), install the tools, and it worked !
Before that, I had deleted the Parallels folder in "Program Files", I removed some expired Parallels certificates in the security store, I did a bunch of things, I can't even remember everything, so I don't know what eventually workd out...
