For some reason, all of the sudden, the Parallels Tools (and Coherence) services are failing to start. Looking in the Windows Event View I see: Parallels Tools Service is not a valid Win32 application. Parallels Coherence Service is not a valid Win32 application. I uninstalled and reinstalled Parallels Tools numerous times. Restart both the Windows XP VM and Parallels many times. Anyone have the same issues? Thanks, Andrew
Coherence fails to start under XP I just started having a problem getting Coherence to start under Windows XP today. I had problems with the latest version of Parallels (along with many other people) and reverted to version 11828. That has worked fine until now. Today Coherence fails to start with a message that the mouse synchronization service is not started. I am requested to reinstall Parallels Tools. Reinstallation does not help.
