Parallels Tools service fails to start

Bit poster
For some reason, all of the sudden, the Parallels Tools (and Coherence) services are failing to start. Looking in the Windows Event View I see:

Parallels Tools Service is not a valid Win32 application.
Parallels Coherence Service is not a valid Win32 application.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Parallels Tools numerous times. Restart both the Windows XP VM and Parallels many times. Anyone have the same issues?

Thanks,

Andrew

Coherence fails to start under XP

I just started having a problem getting Coherence to start under Windows XP today. I had problems with the latest version of Parallels (along with many other people) and reverted to version 11828. That has worked fine until now. Today Coherence fails to start with a message that the mouse synchronization service is not started. I am requested to reinstall Parallels Tools. Reinstallation does not help.
