I am currently running Parallels Version 19.1.1 (54734) on my Macbook M2 (Apple Silicon) laptop. I installed a Kali Image which has its kernel version as 6.11.2-arm64 and hence, parallel tools can't be installed because its only supported for kernel versions <= 6.8. However, I find this dependency issue to be fairly unjust because it requires the users to have older versions of linux kernel that can contain several vulnerabilities. Can the developers please consider making the parallels tools framework independent of the kernel version?

This way, I don't need to worry about keeping my image at a specific version while also updating the other packages to their latest versions? I have bought the professional edition of parallels for a reason but not being able to share the clipboard between my VM and host is highly frustrating.
