Parallels (I have the latest SL update, though haven't yet run it because of the following) seems to be the culprit that prevents Snow Leopard finding a networked printer to set up. A thread in the Apple Discussions offer the following workaround: 1. Open the Terminal (in Applications/Utilities). 2. Type in 'sudo launchctl stop com.parallels.desktop.launchdaemon' (without the quotes), then hit return. 3. When asked, enter your password. When you've done this, your wifi printer will work, but Parallels won't any more. To go back to how things were before, do the same thing but replace 'stop' with 'start'. This isn't much of a solution, just a workaround--it's not optimal to have to switch between Parallels working and the printer working. But it's at least better than uninstalling/reinstalling Parallels. 1. Are you aware of the problem; and 2. Are you working on a solution and when might we see this? Many thanks
