I have had the last 4 version of Parallels & I am on version 8 now on a M1 MacBook Pro. Why does Parallels open Safari every time I use Parallels just to open Windows 11 to check for updates & then shut down Windows 11. This happened on my Intel MacBook Pro & happened with Windows 7 & 10 also. I do not use ANY browsers in Windows when I am in there. I use Parallels in full screen when going into Windows. I do not want Safari to open & hate that I have to close it whenever I use parallels. I never use Safari on any Mac that I own & Chrome is default on my Mac. Can this be corrected? Is this a bug that has been alive through all the last versions & now version 8? Is it something in my settings that I can disable? I am using all of the stock settings in Parallels & always have. Any help is appreciated. I have not found anything on this for YEARS now on the web & finally pissed off enough to reach out here. Thanks in advance.
