Parallels wont launch

Hi,

I recently migrated my imac to my macbook pro for as I am soon off to university. The migration was successful and everything works apart from parallels.

It will not launch even after I have un-installed it and reinstalled it with the latest version from the website.

I have no idea why it wont launch at all. The icon bounces a couple of times and then produces a Parallels Desktop quit unexpectedly from leopard.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version for 3.0 (5608.0?)

I don't know what else I can do. I really need the use of parallels. Any other help would be much appreciated!
 
I need this information
* a copy of /home/<username>/Documents/Parallels/<VM name>/<GuestVM>.pvs
* Archive of /Library/Parallels/bugreports/ (right click on folder --> Create Archive)
or ~/Library/Parallels/bugreports/

* /Library/Logs/panic.log
or ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Parallels.crash.log from the Mac side;
