Parallels won't launch.

I'm on a brand new Macbook with Leopard and Parallels Desktop 3.0.
The virtual OS is Windows Vista Business Ed.

When I try to launch Parallels, it says that it quit unexpectedly.
When I press Relaunch, it goes straight to a window where it gives me an option to Reset and Relaunch.
Even after pressing Reset, it doesn't start.

I went into my bugreports folder under Library I found tons of .logs.
They're almost all 0x1 and a few are 0xb.

Can anyone help? I need Parallels for school, so any help ASAP will be appreciated.
 
I did as the kb instructions told me to do.
After reinstalling Parallels, it said that winvista.hdd was corrupted, missing or whatever...
So it reinstalled Vista again.

However, now, in the installing process, it asked me for my serial number.
When I entered it exactly as the sticker says, it says that it can't be validated, so I'm stuck...

What does this mean?
I'm a little irritated because if I have to buy another copy of Vista, that is unheard of.
 
Do not enter serial at initial installation step, there is no network connection, and thus number cannot be validated
Continue with installing and you have 30 days to call Microsoft and check situation, if after connecting to network you will not be able to activate Windows
