I'm running parallels/winxp pro on an OS X imac.
MyCanon iP4000 pixma printer works fine on the Mac side. When I try to print after switching over to Windows, I get a message that the printer is off line. If I unplug the printer USB input and then plug it back in, Windows will now recognize the printer and all works fine until I go back to the Mac side; then I have to unplug and replug the printer again.
Same thing happens with my external hard drive.
I just downloaded the most recent updates for Parallels Desktop (build 3188) and Tools today 5/5/07.
Is there a way to make USB connections recognized when switching back and forth between OS X and Win XP?
