I installed the trial version of ParallelsDesktop-8.0.18101.797180.dmg .. it works great .. when the trial expired I bought and downloaded ParallelsDesktop .. I cannot get it installed .. now I get messages and dropped off etc .. how do I get the purched version installed ????? .. if I need to re purchas something I am more than willing to do what ever it takes .. just let me know where to go (links) etc ..

There's no difference between the installers, it's the same, the difference is the license key.

thanks for getting back to me .. as I have noted I have installed the trial version of ParallelsDesktop .. and did buy the full version .. at this time I would like to start all over .. to make sure that I re buy the correct version can you give me a link to download / buy the full version ..

It doesn't make any difference, 'as i have noted' it's exactly the same .dmg, take a look at the first link on my signature. But if you are so inclined you can redownload the dmg from the said link, you have a big green button that says 'download trial' and below, if you already have an activation key, you have a 'download now' button. The ONLY difference between the two is that the first sends you a trial key by email and the second doesn't, that's it, the download IS THE SAME, anyway, this will get you the latest version.

latest Windows program ..

ok .. now I have Parallels installed and I am still getting a window that comes up saying that I have to update my Windows program .. this will come up every hour and will shut down my Parallels program .. when I click on the window to download the latest Windows program and install it I end up with a message saying that I cannot update to a usb drive .. ??? ..

I have no idea of what you're talking about, I can't decipher, my only suggestion is that you read the user guide.

The initial topic is solved, this thread is closed for me.
