I have a standard windows keyboard connected to my iMac, the issue is that within parallels it is using the standard Apple keyboard layout eg @ is shift-2 I have tried removing the UK (Apple) Parallels from input method and that makes no difference. I did have to disable the keyboard synchronisation feature as per https://forum.parallels.com/threads...selected-keyboard-layout-input-source.263469/ because it was changing the keyboard within the Mac OS environment. Is there any way, without turning keyboard synchronisation back on to rectify the issue?
