It bombs out right away at the "boot:" prompt.. hit return and it says something about livecd.. "could not find kernel image" or something.

This is a slight bummer as this distro has topped Ubuntu on DistroWatch's "most popular" list and I really wanted to check it out. Does anyone know how to get this working with Parallels?

What version of Parallels are you using? I couldn't get it to install in version <=2.5 but 3.0 worked pretty well.

If you have 2.5 you might try the solaris trick. But, if memory serves, that didn't work for me.

I have the latest build of Parallels 2.5. I'm pending a review for a free upgrade to 3.0. My purchase date was one day too early, but hopefully they'll let it slide.
