PD 4.0 Network Issue

After much patience, I was able to get PD 4.0 properly installed and my virtual machine converted. All works properly with the exception of some weird network behavior. Whenever I launch a Windows app for the first time in the VM, it tries to connect with other Macs on my home network. If these Macs are not online, then the VM just stalls (spinning beach ball) and I have to force PD 4.0 to quit, then start-up the VM again.

When launching the same Windows app after this occurs, results in a normal launch without the VM going out to the network to find my other Macs.

I've not seen such behavior in previous versions of PD and wondering how to fix this. Anyone have a suggestion?
