PD4 - images compatible Mac and Windows?

Hello,
my friends run Parallels on their Mac Books. Therein they run a Windows XP installation. They can make images of their virtual installation and then share them.

I don't have an apple notebook, but would like to run such an image under parallels on my windows notebook too. Is that possible?

No, it is not possible. Parallels Desktop is a product developed especially for Mac.
But you can use these images of virtual machines if you have Parallels Workstation.

Sorry, but i don't understand. Is it possible, or is it not? Can those images made by Parallels Desktop be used on the Parallels Workstation or not?
