I've set Mac Adobe Acrobat Pro as the default PDF app in Parallels Windows. PDFs open fine when double-clicked from within Windows, but when saving a PDF from Excel in Windows, the PDF doesn't open automatically after saving when the Mac Adobe Acrobat is set as default, whereas it does when a Windows PDF application is set as default. I'm on an M3 Max Macbook pro and latest Parallels, latest Mac OS, and I've enabled "Share Mac applications with Windows". Assume installing Adobe on Windows isn't an option here. Can someone help with this? Thanks!
It sounds like a compatibility issue might be causing the PDFs saved from Excel in Parallels to not open in Mac Adobe Acrobat Pro.
