I understand it's still in testing, but I just installed Android 9 in a VM on Parallels 16 running on a 2019 MBP. While I got it to boot and logged in, it is almost but not quite entirely unusable. I configured it with the default RAM and disk sizes, has anyone got it running smoothly, and if so, what settings did you use? I'm just not that familiar with the Android platform (trying to change that via this VM) so I don't know what's reasonable for RAM, Graphics RAM, cores, etc. I'm going to try cranking them all up and see what happens. Maybe running it side by side with a Windows VM isn't ideal. Mostly I'm just thinking out loud but am curious if anyone uses Android in Parallels regularly, especially if it's for development work.
