Port Forwarding (for uTorrent)

I did search the forum for this topic and found a thread where the OP solved the problem...but didn't say how.

I am running Parallels desktop and need to forward a port for uTorrent...I've tried everything I can think of and can't get it to work...

Has anyone done this successfully and can point me in the right direction?

you need to use bridged networking, not shared networking. Then you treat the VM as a completely seperate machine on your network. Forward the port to its IP address.
