I know there are a few topics on this in the forums, and I read them but couldn't quite grasp all the instructions (I suck at networking lingo).
All I am trying to do is to get port 52505 open to my Windows XP VM. I'm running a Macbook, with a Linksys WRT54G router. I tried using this guide:
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WAG54G/Utorrent.htm
And while I did maintain internet access on Windows, the port was still blocked.
I've heard the differences between "shared" and "bridged" connections, but I'm not sure what those are and which is preferable. I'm sure I haven't provided all the information you guys would need (just because I'm not sure what you would need), so please don't worry about asking for some information. And thanks for any help
