I've installed Parallels 3 and Windows Vista, and they work fine (or well enough, performance is OK but not great, and I can't access Firewire video input, which I need to host a Windows Media Encoder-based webcast).

So, I need to run Windows in Boot Camp, but I'd rather not completely reinstall Windows Vista from scratch. If I creat a Boot Camp partition, then copy my Parallels image to the Boot Camp partition, will that work? Or, will the extra stuff installed by Parallels cause problems?

    Thanks!

You can find a number of posts in the knowlege base. But before I tried any of them I would make a copy of my VM for back up just in case it didn't work the way I wanted it to.

PS I also clone my vm and use the clone to experiment. (But I am not sure you can do this when transporting to bootcamp with out effecting the original machine)
