Maybe I am the last to know, but in case I am not: It is possible to open PPS in Windows without paying for "Office". Or without paying for iLife in Mac. Read in todays paper that there is a free PowerPoint viewer available at Microsoft.com. The guy was right; although I could not download it while in Windows Vista Ultimate. I got it to download from Safari in Mac, then I drug it to Windows and opened it there. Works like a champ. Never did like the idea of paying for iLife or Office just so I could view PPS. Like I said, maybe I was just too dumb to know that a freebie was available. So, if I wasted anyones time I am sorry.
