    Hi,

I am using Parallels on a mac to virtualize Win 11. As a mac app, I am also using Zoom for Meetings. The problem is: When the cursor is in the virtual machine (means: active window is the virtual machine) and I press F10 (which toggles the microphone on/off in Zoom), It does not work, because F10 will be passed to windows. I do NEVER use F10 in Windows.
How can I tell parallels "If I press F10 (not Strg+F10 or Strg+Alt+F10 - only F10!), do not 'route' it to Windows, but to the mac"?

    Thanks for helping

    Ralf

    Hello Ralf,

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to prevent a specific keystroke from being sent to your Windows virtual machine.
However, you can prevent Windows from recognizing your macOS shortcuts.

To do this, kindly perform the following actions:
    1. Shut down your Virtual Machine.
    2. Open Parallels Desktop Preferences (Right-click the Parallels Desktop icon (on your dock) > Preferences > Shortcuts).
    3. Click on "macOS System Shortcuts" and select the drop-down to set "Send macOS System Shortcuts" to "Never"
