Printer never prints first time?

Hi

I have a weird printer problem. I have a network printer (Lexmark e360dn) that OS X prints to with no problems. Parallels set itself up so that in Windows this shows as some HP printer. For some reason, printing from Windows always fails the first time after Parallels has been started. I can hear the printer start up, but it doesn't print anything. Trying again works.

This is a problem, because I need Windows for this idiotic reporting software, from which it's a pain to get reports it thinks it has printed out again. So any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello,

On Mac side please check the following:
1) System Preferences -> Sharing -> Printer Sharing -> Printer Sharin on-> Open Print and fax preferences -> there should be the printer

2) Configure -> Parallel Port 1 (or add it "+" parallel port) -> it should be connected and enabled

Start Virtual Machine -> Parallel Port 1 -> Connect default printer or printer you specfied when you set up Parallel Port 1
