Printer only prints stuff on paralles side

Help
i an running the latest leopard on my new iMac. I can print anything i want within Paralles when open but id i try to print anything on the "mac side" i.e. an email or ical ect the printer comes up and its waiting for printer. but anything i print from quickbooks (lives on paralles) prints fine.

BUT

as soon as i close paralles i can print from the mac side!

is there a way to share the printer!!!!!!

Hello Bradglaberson,

If you are connecting the printer to your VM as a USB device, you can only use it by Mac and by Parallels in turn. To avoid shutting down Windows each time you would like to print from Mac, you can disconnect the printer from the VM through Parallels Desktop menu bar -> Devices menu.
