Printer problem when using different trays

OK - I've looked through the forum and haven't found an answer for my issue. I have a client that uses 2 instances of the same printer with each instance using different default settings (i.e. tray 1 is plain, tray 2 is preprinted forms).
The client uses a print server as opposed to creating a tcp/ip port on each computer.
The same default settings end up getting used for both instances. Let me try to be a bit more clear.
Print server is connected to and publishes frontprinter-plain (tray 1 default) and frontprinter-form (tray 2 default).
User prints to frontprinter-plain - works fine (pulls from tray 1)
User prints to frontprinter-form - STILL pulls from tray 1 (plain)

Background info:
Application Server XG 10.5 (build 1327)
Windows Client 10.5 (1323) Control version 6.1.7600 (81)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Thanks for your post, it's recommended you install the latest version of 2X ApplicationServer and 2X Client. These can be downloaded from http://www.2x.com/downloads/

Important note: When upgrading from one major build of 2X ApplicationServer to another, for example 2X ApplicationServer version 10 to 2X ApplicationServer version 11 please ensure before upgrading that you are eligible for a license key for the 2X ApplicationServer you're upgrading to. This is because there is no supported downgrade process once upgrade is committed so when performing an upgrade to a later major release, the license key has to be ready to apply into the product after upgrade.
