Hello everyone, I have an issue with a few new powerbooks wich were purchased where I work. We use konica/minolta printers with the account codes to track usage of the printers to their respective departments. Unfortunately the drivers for mac do not support this feature with the models we use.

We are looking at a few different options on fixing this issue, and Parallels is one of them. XP has been installed on parallels, and we have all our printing functionality working on the windows side of things. With the new feature in 3.0, we can print our mac word docs by having them open on the windows side. Unfortunately we also need to print from InDesign, and do not have enough liscences to install on both sides of the system.

So my question is this. If i share the printer installed on the windows side, is it possible and what are the steps to get the mac side to connect to it?

    Thanks for any help.

P.S. I know this might be a simple answer but I am somewhat of a mac newbie.
