I'm trying to set up my old LaserWriter 4/600 printer up in SUSE Linux.

My network connection is such that my computer connects via Airport, and the printer has a LocalTalk-Ethernet converter which then connects to the AirPort and the rest of the network.

I've tried following the Linux instructions for adding a network printer, but when I try to use Samba, it says I have not established a workgroup. I'm not sure where to go from there.

Also, am I going to have a problem because my printer is so old? It has no TCP/IP capability, only AppleTalk, and it's using an adapter to even use Ethernet.

I'd appreciate any suggestion around this issue if one exists.

    Thanks.
