prl_client_app quit unexpectedly

I recently upgraded to the latest beta of snow leopard, after which I restored my settings from a time machine backup. This restored all my apps to a working state except for parallels. Whenever I restart the machine I get the error: "prl_client_app quit unexpectedly" and then when I attempt to start parallels I get the error: "Parallels Desktop quit unexpectedly".

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I even ran parallels through app zapper hoping it would remove files the regular uninstaller may have missed. Any help would be appreciated. I have a couple apps that I need to run in windows, and boot camp is such a pain, hense the reason I purchased parallels to begin with.

BTW running Parallels Desktop 4 4.0.3844.408728

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Please uninstall Parallels Desktop by following the steps mentioned below in the link:

2. Now please perform the disk repair permissions.
1. Reboot your Mac.
2. Launch Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility.
3. Select Macintosh HD on the left panel and click Repair Disk permissions.
3. Now install Parallels Desktop with the latest build 3844 by downloading the link given below:
