prl_disk_util merge --hdd <virtual-hard-disk-drive-location> does not progress in a timely manner

In short: it takes forever and seems to be stuck at--in my case--36%. I am tempted to throw my Windows VM away after thinking that snapshots were a good way to protect myself from churn.

Is there anyway to quickly throw away my snapshots and start over from any other point in time?

Hi @DavidNo , please perform first aid on you Mac , reboot it and try to merge the snapshots and check if that helps.
