prl_naptd uses 170% CPU

Hi,
I'm running PD 4.0.3844 on Mac OS X 1.5.7 and Windows XPSP3 as a guest OS. A few minutes after starting the virtual machine, the process prl_naptd starts using 170% of the CPU, stopping the Mac doing anything else. It makes no difference if I start the boot camp partition, or a VM file. When I kill the process manually, everything is back to normal.
What happens here, and how can I stop this?

Please try the following

1. Try also this setting: http://forum.parallels.com/showpost.php?p=377173&postcount=16

2. If this doesn't help, try to disable IPv6. It can be done from ControlPanel->Network Connection -> Local Area Connection -> Properties and uncheck all parameters for IPv6

sorry for mislead, It is turned out that there are no any IPv6 for Win XP

After a fresh Mac reboot, and without starting Parallels, MacOS Activity monitor shows prl_naptd taking large amounts (>68%) of cpu. Why is this process running? Can I kill it safely?

What version of Parallels Desktop you are using?

If it is 6.0, I'd appreciate if you could send a problem report using menu of Parallels Desktop "Help" -> "Report a Problem" and post here its ID (description is not required)

This process provides Shared Networking for VMs.

sorry for mislead, It is turned out that there are no any IPv6 for Win XP

Thanks for clarifying, I kinda have second thoughts at first.
