Problem opening Parallels virtual window

Beginning today, every time I try to open Parallels the opening window appears but it is in the "Stopped" mode, similar to what I see after I close windows. Thus, I have no green arrow on the right side to press and cannot open my windows virtual window.

I rebooted my computer--didn't help--so I uninstalled and reinstalled Parallels. Didn't solve the problem.

Any ideas about what I can do next?

It sounds like the toolbar is missing. Check the following

- Go to the view menu and click customize
- Make sure that show toolbar is checked. Click OK.
