Problem running Jupiter Networks VPN on Parallels

I recently installed Windows 8.0 as a Boot Camp partition on my Mac in order to access my company's network via a PC-Specific VPN application. We use Jupiter Network Connect (current version is 7.3.0.24309) and whenever I try to use it via Parallels the app does not connect properly. However, when I boot directly using bootcamp I am able to successfully logon and enter our VPN. This did not happen when I had Windows 7 running a similar app via Parallels.

For your reference, my current version of Parallels is Build 9.0.24237.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please let us know if you are running a Boot Camp VM on your Parallels Desktop or is the VM that you are running on your Parallels Desktop was

created using a Windows disk or an image file, so that we could help you!
 
Hi,

Does your network interface is configured in bridged mode or shared?
If in shared, please try to use bridged mode and test: http://kb.parallels.com/en/4948
You may change networks type in Virtual machine -> Configure -> Hardware -> Network1

Also, how exactly the app does not connect properly? An error message?
If yes - did you try to contact Juniper Network app support?
 
Hi guys, thanks for your comments and suggestions. As to your questions:

1. I am running an actual bootcamp partition of windows 8.0 created using a Microsoft DVD using Bootcamp Assistant. Once I partitioned my HD and installed windows 8, I then proceeded to "Import BootCamp..." from Parallels. It was a clean install and not an upgrade (I previously had Windows 7, but deleted the partition and then proceeded to do again from scratch.

2. I was using shared mode and switched over to bridged as recommended. However, I get the exclamation point on the Windows network interface in the task bar which says: Identifying... No internet access. In this case I've tried using both the default adapter as well as Wi-Fi (which is what I'm currently using), and both give the same error. The odd thing is that when I enter the Network and Sharing Center in Windows, I can only see an Ethernet connection, which is says is what I'm trying to use right now, but I'm actually on Wi-Fi and don't even have an ethernet cable (or even the Thuunderbolt Ethernet Adapter for that case) plugged into my machine. I don't know how to add the wi-fi connection. However, when I boot in Bootcamp, I am able to connect via Wi-Fi with no issues.

3. I did attempt to contact Jupiter Networks, but since the adapter does in fact work when I boot my machine in Bootcamp, they mention this is due to my VM interface and they cannot provide any support, which is why I came to this forum.

Any additional steps would be greatly appreciated.
