Hi
I have Parallels 7 and I have just installed Ubuntu 11.10 in a virtual machine. Host is Mac OS X Lion.
I need to ugrade the Parallels Tools but I am encountering a problem.
I have enabled the root account in Ubuntu and logged in as root.
I mount the Parallels tools disk image using the "Update Parallels Tools" command in Parallels.
I open a terminal and drag the "install" file from the disk image to the terminal window.
I get this line:
root@ubuntu:~# '/media/Parallels Tools/install'
So I hit return and I get this:
/media/Parallels Tools/install: line 478: /media/Parallels Tools/installer/installer.x86_64: Input/output error
I wonder what the problem is?
Thank you
