Problem updating/ registration

I have a licensed copy of Parallels Desktop for Mac, running WinXP on a Mac Book Pro using OS X 10.4.11. It keeps telling me to update my version (it's currenty 3.0.5582) but I must register. I have tried to register, but it keeps asking me for an activation key. How do I get that (my software is already paid for, and I have a product ID number, 00009-2147593379-030004.)?

Hi,

The whole point of my post is that I don't have an activation key, and therefore I can't register it on your website. I have a product ID number, which seems to be different. I you can send me an activation key, then I can register it!

Hi again,

I found an activation key in a separate folder, which must have come with the .dmg file. It is'nt in the Parallels Desktop. However, when I enter it into the appropriate space in the Activation instructions, I get a message saying "This seems to be invalid". The key is *****-*****-*****-*****-***** . So I'm no further ahead and even more frustrated. Please send me a valid activation key!

Here it is, together with a screen shot after clicking More Info. Also a screenshot from a file that I presume was in the original .dng package when I downloaded it, and I found on my hard drive.

Hi,

I d/l build 5584, and the activation key from my build 5582 works OK, and so (so far) does the program! A mystery indeed, but if it works, I'll leave it at that.
