    I am trying to create a boot cd from my Virtual PC disc using these instructions here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2097958&#2097958

    I am able to slipstream the disc and use Nero to create an .iso file. I then burn it with Toast. When I start up my Parallels machine with the CD inserted I get a blue screen with the message:
    "Please insert the disk labeled
    Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 CD
    into Drive A:
    * Press Enter when ready."

    I can't get beyond that.

    I did notice that when I compare my files that are on the burned CD to what is on the example image here: http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsXP/winxp-sp2-bootcd.html there are a few files that aren't on my disc. I don't have the folder "cmpnents" or the files "Microsoft Corporation...", "Readme.htm", or "win51ip.SP2". My disc is a Windows XP Home Edition and I believe the example is the Professional Edition , so I don't know if that makes a difference.

    So can anyone help me to get a working boot disc?

    You can find really good instructions on creating a boot CD by looking through the tread at
    <http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=435127&start=0>. Go half way down and follow those steps. They worked for me.

    Cheers,
