Before Parallels 3.0 and Leopard I would place my clones on an external FW800 HDD. Since switching to the new software, I start the cloning process and it runs for a minute or so then fails because the external drive has been knocked off line. I tried several times with the same results. Sorry I don't know if it is Parallels 3.0 or Leopard that is causing the problem. The drive tests out OK with other Mac files. Temporarily I am cloning to the internal drive at the default location and no problems. Anyone else seen anything like this?
