Problems on client side.

Hi,

There are 2 major things that we need from AP&LB:
- Secure connection
- No client side administration, i.e. we don't want a user to set or change options, ideally he must not know about 2x Client and only use web-published links.

But I encountered problems related to above:

- Web-published application links open http port connection to the server instead of https, regardless current settings in Client options.

- "disable options" feature in regedit doe not work: it's still possible to open options, even if it is set to 1.

Could you please help me with above, and advise how we can predefine client-side options (connection settings etc)?

Web-published application links open http port connection to the server instead of https, regardless current settings in Client options.

If you use the new version 5 (still in beta but will out by the beginning of June 2007), you can set the port and the connection mode.

"disable options" feature in regedit doe not work: it's still possible to open options, even if it is set to 1.

This feature only works if the user is not an administrator, in the next version an other option is available so that even administrators cannot change their settings.
