I am running Parallels 9 with Windows 7 on a 2011 27" iMac with 20gb of ram, i5 3.1 processor, etc. I am currently having trouble saving ArcMap outputs to a file geodatabase which I had created from within ArcMap (Windows, of course) on the Mac drive (Home or Host - can be accessed either way). Has anyone ever done this? Had similar trouble saving to the Home/Host drive side from ArcMap while running Parallels? I am wondering if this trouble could be related to differences in accessing or creating files between these two drives on the virtual machine. Strangely enough, I can save outputs into the folder containing the file geodatabase (such as outputs from Mosaic to New Raster), but the same outputs never appear in the geodatabase, despite the tool indicating a successful run.
