Problems with a network Printer on Parallels

Sorry for the confusion but I accidentally posted this in the wrong place.
I have a home network with a PC and a Mac Pro. I have a print server on the network with an Epson 2200 installed. I can print from the PC and have had success in the past installing it in an older Mac. I can install the printer on my new Mac Pro but cannot get it to print. My entire objective was to get it to print through parallels on the mac but I am stymied. I have done all the obvious thinkgs (I think) by turning on sharing and pinging the server to ascertain connection but cannot get anything to work through the Mac. I am not a network guru and just kind of bumble around. I proceeded and tried to get the vm to recognize the print server but no luck there either. On another forum I was told by a member that he could never get his 2200 to work through Parallels but I am not ready to give it up yet. Does anyone have any advice?? Please HELP!
