I have a dual OS network, on one side an HP with Windows XP media and on the the other side a Powermac. Both the computers can see each other and access each other's files.
I originally installed Parallels (Buiild 1940) on the Powermac with Windows XP Pro and I was able to at least open and access the Quickbooks file resident on the HP from the Windows XP VM on the Powermac. I upgraded my Parallels late last week and I am currently running Build 3214, however, I no longer can open up my Quickbooks file that resides on the HP and no matter what I tried I could not connect to the HP.
I also have a Macbook Pro on which I am still running Parallels (Build 1940) with Windows XP Pro. The Mac side can be seen on the HP and Powermac and vice versa.
I made sure that all the windows machines are in the same workgroup and I can see all the computers in the workgroup: Powermac,HP,Macbook Pro and the Virtual machine on the Powermac, but I can not connect to the VM on the Powermac nor the VM on the Macbook.
I am struggling here, does anybody have any ideas or suggestions.
