Problems with setting up the CD/DVD Drive

Ok my problem is, that when I run windows on my macbook it will show me the cd drive but if I insert a cd nothing happens. When I doubleclick on the cd drive windows asks me to insert a cd first even if there is one in the drive.

So I tried to figure the whole thing out in the configuration of the virtual machine and set up everything like I was told in the manual, I also tried each option for the IDE but it wouldnt work with any of em.

The cd drive is fine, since its working normal in the mac os.
I hope somebody can help.

 

never mind I figured it out, somewhy parallels had it disconnect so I just had to click connect.
