I have done all the recommended things (over the past year!) to try and get Windows to see the 20 Gig partition, but it all fails. Windows is now out of room, it only sees the original size 7 gig partition.

My wish list is for Parallels to provide a utility to allow Windows to see this extra space.

    hi,
i took a quick look on your previous posts and as i right understood you wanted to resize Windows system partition and couldn't to do that because Windows didn't allow to do this when partition using. Sorry if i dublicates solution that you already got earlier and it wasn't helpfull for you but whether you tried follow:
    1. Create another VM and install there another copy of Windows
    2. Add to new VM virtual harddisk where necessary system partition exists
    3. Startup VM, loading guest Windows and resize partition

    sandro,

This is not a user freindly pocedure but a work around that you suggest. In Virtual PC, Microsot offered tha ability to expend / resize the image. The new dsk space was autoatically recognized by windows...

    hmm,
yes i of course agree with you. I just want to provide you a possible temporary solution if you still not resolved your issue.
